JMHS Marching Ensemble

2021 Tag Day

September11, 7:30 am-4:15 pm

More than 120 uniformed James Madison High School Marching Ensemble members will knock on 10,000 doors through Vienna and Oakton to thank residents for their support and solicit donations for the Band Boosters during its annual TAG Day fundraiser, from 7:30a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021

TAG Day proceeds support the James Madison High School Band Program. Competition performances have earned the JMHS Band a reputation of excellence, and it is one of only a few Bands to hold two prestigious Sudler Flags of Honor (an international award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation). The Band plans to compete at four events this fall, in addition to performing at half time at the Madison home football games.

Students from the James Madison High School Marching Band will be in Vienna/Oakton neighborhoods on Saturday, September 11, for "Tag Day." The students will be going door-to-door thanking residents for their support and collecting donations to support the Band Boosters. Donations will support competition travel to out-of-state and regional competitions as well as instructors, instruments, equipment, and need-based financial assistance. Donations of any amount (cash or check payable to JMHS Band Boosters) are appreciated. Thanks in advance for your support!
